The Demis Hasabis CEO of DeepMind which has developed AI program named AlphaGo showed great confidence during the interview.

He said that the match against Lee SeDol 9P is kind of historical match for developing AlphaGo. I assume there are many negative impacts of AlphaGo, but I am sure it would be developed for better life of human.

AlphaGo is ready to compete with Lee SeDol 9P from 9th of March.

Below is the interview with CEO of DeepMind.

- Q : When did you develop AlphaGo from?
A : It was 2 years ago, and It is accerlerated from a year ago.

- Q : Why is it for Baduk?
A : AI can defect Chess by fast calculation. But there are hundrends of variations in Baduk. And human's insight is also effective. So Baduk is known to be the one which can not be defeated by AI. I hope to challenge this, and that is why the name of the match is Grand Challenge.

- Q : Can you play Baduk?
A : I am amateur 1 Dan, and I also have played Chess when I was young.

- Q : Does AlphaGo imporve a lot after the match with Pan Hui 2P last Octorver?

A : AlphaGo is improving itself by a lot of games. And there are many tests by company and I am sure It has made great improvement.

- Q : Does AlphaGo recognize such as influnece, fighting spirit?
A : It is hard to make algorithm as it is not counted. That is assigned only for human not for AI.

- Q : Does AlphaGo can beat many points according to the opponents?
A : AlphaGo is operating to win, It has no specific algorithm how many points to win.

- Q : Many expect Lee SeDol 9P's win. 
A : Becuase they only know the games with Pan Hui. AlphaGo has more than it.

- Q : Then who would win?
A : I am not sure. It would be even.

- Q : AI can overcome Baduk like Chess?
A : I think it is possible in 5 years. I hope to prove this next month.
