Asian TV Cup starts from June 1 to 3 in Tokyo, Japan. The Asian TV Cup is a knock out lightning Baduk tournament open to the last year's champion, and the champions and runner ups of the KBS Cup (Korea), CCTV Cup (China), and NHK Cup (Japan).

In the first round, played on June 1, Lee Changho 9P and Kang Dongyoon 9P, Chen Yaoye 9P advanced to the semi finals.

The championship prize is 2.5 million Yen (approx. $ 27,450), and the runner-up prize is 50 thousand Yen (approx. $ 5,500)
