Park JaeGuen 1P became a first winner of Next star tournament. 

Park JaeGuen 1P won against Choi JaeYoung 1P by resign with black in the last match of the final and won. Park 1P lost first game, and won 2 games in a row.

Hong MinPyu 8P commented that Park 1P's strategy was very effective as he takes much territory and see. There was very complicated variation in the middle game, but Park 1P showed very stable level of reading.

Park 1P said in the interview that I emptied my mind after losing first game. I just hoped to play more games and this was good for me. My goal for next year is to become a Baduk leaguer and play in the final of world championship.

Mok JinSuk 9P sponcored this tournament for rookies as they don't play enough games and experiences. This tournament would boost their passion and experiences. From next year, this tournament would be operated by many people's will and support.

Total 34 players have attended this year and they have many games as the sponcor's will. All people hope this kind of tournament is more and more operated in some way.
