Two Korean players will compete for the thropy of LG Cup.

There were two matches in the semi-final of 20th LG Cup between Korean and Chinese players. Kang DongYun and Park YoungHun 9P from Korea each won against Shi Yue 9P and Thi Jiaxi 9P.

Kang DongYun 9P ranked 4th in Korea had very severe fights and fights with Shi Yue 9P ranked 2rd in China, and got win at the last moment. Before this game, Kang 9P beats Ke Jie 9P ranked 1st in China which means he had met Chinese top rankers in LG Cup.

Song TaeGon 9P commented this game that there were very complicated fights over and over, but Kang DongYun 9P's focusing was worth seeing.

Park YoungHun 9P ranked 3rd in Korea beats Thi Jiaxi 9P ranked 6th in China which was kind of perfect win. Thi 9P was ahead in the beginning, but it was changed for Park 9P in the middle game as his moves were very lose, and it was end.

Kang DongYun 9P and Park YoungHun 9P meets in the final of LG Cup this time. In the interview Park 9P said I have been in the final of LG Cup three times before, I am happy to be again in the final. I hope to have good game with Ke Jie 9P in the following NMongBak Cup and it will connect to LG Cup as well.

Kang DongYun 9P said that I am happy to see that Korea's win is decided, but more important thing is to win myself in the final. I will do my best keep my condition for it.

The final is supposed to be held next February in Korea, but not decided yet other things in detail.
