Kang DongYun beats Ke Jie No.1 in China    

The round 16 of 20th LG Cup has been held in Korea and two Korean and two Chinese are in the semi-final and compete in the end. From Korea, Kang DongYun and Park YoungHun each won against Ke Jie and Yu JungChi from Japan while Kim JiSuk 9P and Won SungJin 9P lost each against Shi Yue 9P and Thi Jiaxi 9P from China.

As soon as all games were finished, next matches are decided that Kang DongYun vs Shi Yue and Park YoungHun vs Thi Jiaxi. 

Kang DongYun 9P ranked 4th in Korea beats Ke Jie ranked 1 in China in the end. As Ke Jie 9P's condition is unbeliable and seems to forget to lose recently, Kang DongYun 9P's win was more than one win for Korea.

Kang 9P said in the interview that I know Ke Jie 9P is so strong and No.1 player in China, so that I could do just my best. It has been  long time since I am in the semi-final, I hope to do my Baduk as well.

From the begining, the game was filled with a lot of fights. Kang 9P thought he was behind but acutally it was very closed. He was sure to win as Ke Jie 9P lost 1 point in the end game.

Yun JunSang 9P commneted that Kang DongYun 9P is so great. His reading and the way he arrnage the game was so great. He has been in depression for some time, but he is back again with good condition again.

For the following semi-final, It will be continuoed on 18th at the same place. Kang DongYu 9P meets with Shi Yue 9P and Park YounHun 9P meets with Thi Jiaxi 9P.
