15th HanHwa World Children Kooksu Cup has been held on 6th of August in Seoul, and Moon MinJong got its first trophy in HanHwa Cup in the end. He won against Oh ByongWoo by resign with white in the deciding game. Oh ByongWoo has come to the final of HanHwa Cup 2 times in a row, but came up second all.

Moon MinJong learned Baduk when he was first grade of elementary school, and the teacher strongly recommended to study in better system school. He is now studying in YangChen Baduk school. He had deciding game in pro qualification tournament for only rookies, but lost and failed in the end this year.

He showed his will that I will become a pro next year and will study hard to achieve it. It is very interesting to see that 12 winners out of 14 have become  a pro who won this HanHwa Cup in the past. Amont them, there are Na Hun, Lee DongHun, Shin JinSeo and Shin MinJun who are hot rookies recently.

- DId you know well about your opponent? 
When we were very young, we have studied together and kind of rival. I think we are same level and also had 1 win 1 lose in another tournament this year.

- Commnet about the deciding game? 
I was behind in the begining, but I could turn it up for me with his mistakes and I could keep it until the end.

- Who do you respect most? 
Lee SeDol 9P, as he has totally different style. I am fascinating in his games.

- What is your goal now?  
 To become a pro next year.
