When Tang 9Dan tried to make something in the lower left corner, Park 9Dan's moves were not good enough. Park 9Dan lost many points there and couldn't turn it up in the end.

Kim JiSuk 9Dan won against Shi Yue 9Dan from China by resign with white. Kim 9Dan had good position in the beginning as he rushed well. But Kim 9Dan lost points in the center and let Shi Yue 9Dan invade his shape on the lower side. After that the game was good for Shi Yue 9Dan but the game went very unstable after that. Shi Yue 9Dan made many mistakes which showed he has too much tension, and Kim 9Dan caught that chance to turn it up.

Before the match, many fans and experts expected that Park JungHwan 9Dan has more possibility while Kim JiSuk 9Dan has even possibility to win. But the result is exactly opposed.
