Choi Jung finally got the top of the world women personal tournament. The last opponent was Lui Naiwei 9Dan who has been a top in women Baduk for a long time.

Choi Jung 4Dan won against Lui Naewei 9Dan by 2.5 points with white in the final of the 5^th KongLyung Mountain Cup on 3th of September. This is first win for Choi Jung 4Dan to win the world women championship. And also it has been 2 years since Park JiEn 9Dan won this KongLyung Mountain Cup.

Choi Jung 4Dan attended this championship as No.1 women player in Korea and showed great level until the final. Other Korean women players lost together in the round 16 and watched Choi Jung's game.

Lui Naiwei 9Dan won Yu ZhiYing in the round 4 which shows her great condition recently. But she failed to win the tournament again.

Choi Jung 4Dan improved to 5Dan as a regulation that 1 Dan is improved when someone won the world championship.
