But Choi ChelHan 9Dan lost against Tang WeiXing 9Dan who is the defending champion of SamSung Cup and Kim YunYoung 4Dan lost against Murakawa Daiske 7Dan from Japan.

Total 11 players challenge in the round 32 from Korea, and 4 players like Lee ChangHo, Choi ChelHan, Lee WonYoung and Kim YunYoung failed to survive in the end.

But compared to last year's result, 2 more Korean players succeeded in round 16, while 3 less Chinese players are in the round 16.
