6 Korean players got a win in the first round

Lee ChangHo, Lee SeDo, Kim JiSuk, Kang DongYun and Kim SeongJae

In the opening ceremony, Lee ChangHo 9Dan mentioned that I think I can win the tournament if all players help me up while Lee SeDol 9Dan said that my goal is to win, I hope to get best results this year. Both players got a win in the first round and go forward well.

Korea team got 6 wins 5loses in the first round of round 32 of 2014 SamSung Cup on 26^th of August. In the match between Park JungHwan 9Dan who is No.1 in Korea and Shi Yue 9Dan who is No.1 in China, Shi Yue 9Dan won. In the league of death, Kim JiSuk and Tang WeiXing got first win together while Choi ChelHan and Chen YaoYe lost in the first round.

Lee SeDol and Kang DongYun won each against Shi JaYang and Yang DingShin from China.
