The 35^th World Amateur Go Championship is ready to be started from 6^th to 9th of July in Gyeongju in Korea. 55 players from 55 different countries came to Korea to attend this great championship.

Many of VIP joined the opening ceremony which is combined with top players' idea before the match.

Hong SukHun a head of KBA and IGF, Mashiwora Goichilo a previous head of IGF, Lye ShiMing a head of China GO Federation etc attend to celebrate the opening ceremony.

The opening ceremony was opened with celebration event, the video of introduction of the championship, introduction of VIP, greetings etc.

From 6^th to 9^th, there are two games a day under the swiss league system and there is a tour schedule in Gyeongju for all players on 10^th.

3 important matches in every round will be broadcasting at Wbaduk.
