Baduk's new revolution is here to be a sport game.

The board of directors of the Korean Olympic Committee has been held and decided to acknowledge Baduk to be a demonstration sport for the next 95^th National Sports Festival.

Baduk has been once attended in the previous National Sports Festival as a displaying sport in 2003.

It was normal to become a demonstration sport after being a displaying sport but there were several problems in Baduk society to fulfill its conditions.

Affiliated organization of Baduk were not completely settled yet in the country sides and also registration of sports member are main problems for Baduk society to become a demonstration sport.

Anyway, from now on, there is a right for Baduk society to make Baduk team in high school and university. And after making many Baduk teams in many areas, then there would be a privilege for Baduk players to go to the high school and universities. This will motivate more and more people to learn Baduk in Korea.

Next goal is to become a official sport game in the National Sports Festival.
