Park JungHwan 9Dan won against Tan Weixing 9Dan from China who won the SamSung Cup by resign with white.

And Kim JiSuk 9Dan also won against Thu Jiaxi 9Dan from China by resign with white.

But Lee SeDol and Choi ChelHan 9Dan lost all against Chinese players. Lee SeDol 9Dan lost against Guli 9Dan by a half point with black and Choi ChelHan 9Dan lost against Mi YuTing 3Dan by resign with white.

Lee SeDol 9Dan and Guli 9Dan is before the 3th game of the death match this Sunday. It seems that Guli 9Dan got his confidence by 2 wins against Lee SeDol 9Dan.

Jang Shi 9Dan from Japan won against Jang Weijie 9Dan from China and he is the only Japanese player in the round 8.

In the next match up, Park JungHwan meets Chen Yaoye and Kim JiSuk meets Mi YuTing. The other two matches are Jang Shi and Guli and Shi Wei and Juo Luiyang.
