It had been 10 years without Hans. The main goal of our event is to keep up his memory and to share it with the next generations of go players. We are sure that the memory of Hans shall serve as a role model for future European go players.

Between the rounds Hans's sensei, Chizu Kobayashi 5 dan professional of the Japanese Go Association will give public lectures about Hans's most memorable games. The finals of the tournament will be live commented by her.

Play

We are kindly inviting you to this event where a lot of European top players will attend. The tournament will be a regular MacMahon tournament with a playoff for the finals. Come and play in one of the biggest tournaments in Europe!
