Barcelona summer Seminar 2011 - Jul 18-22
Introduction
The Spanish Go Association is proud to organize a Go Seminar, in July, from 18th to 22nd, 2011, in Barcelona (Spain).
This seminar is open to all Go players. During 5 days, pros and expert teachers will teach us.
Notice that this is a good chance to get ready for European Congress, that starts on Sunday 24th of July, in Bourdeaux (France), with is not far from Barcelona (around 6 hours by car). Some seminar participants will travel to the Congress from Barcelona, using bus, train, plane and private cars.
Venue
Barcelona's Go club, La Pedra, en the center of the city. The place has some big rooms, where the seminar will take place. Moreover there is a kitchen, so people can cook for themselves, saving money. Next to the club there are restaurants of all kind, among tourist places, and the beach is just a 10 minutes walk from there.
Accommodation
We suggest alberguinn youth hostel, 26¡Ë©¡ per person per night. You can also look for other options.
Price
The price of the seminar is 110¡Ë©¡ per person. All the money gathered will be used to pay the teachers.

Daily Schedule
Each day there will be 2 rounds of a tournament (European class B), game's reviews, simultaneous games, and 2 hours of classes.
¢®¢´ 10:30-12:30 Tournament Round (40min+byoyomi)
¢®¢´ 12:00-13:00 Individual review of games, with teachers
¢®¢´ 13:00-13:30 Public review of 1 game
¢®¢´ 13:30-16:00 Lunch and "siesta"
¢®¢´ 16:00-18:00 Tournament Round
¢®¢´ 18:00-19:00 Simultaneous games
¢®¢´ 19:00-20:00 Small group class (3 groups regarding level, with one teacher each)
¢®¢´ 20:00-20:30 Public Top class (with everybody)
¢®¢´ 20:30-21:00 Public Top class (by other teacher)
¢®¢´ 21:00-¢®| Dinner and party (your choice)
This will be the normal daily schedule for all days, except on Wednesday, that we will got to the beach (until 18h, when we will go continue the normal schedule).
