On June 11th and 13th 2011 the 3rd Kido Cup will be held. It is organised by the Go-Landesverband Hamburg and the Hebsacker Verlag. The total amount of money and material prizes will be about 10.000 Euro.
Kido Cup is modeled as a Korean multiple style Tournament - with a top group, and main tournament with special prices for women and youth players and children's tournament - generously sponsored by the Korean company Kido Industrial Co., Ltd., and supported by the Omikron Data Quality GmbH, Shinkwang Baduk, the Hankuk Kiwon (Professional Players Association) and the KABA (Amateur Players Association).

Tournaments
All tournaments are for amateurs only. Professional players are not allowed to participate. Furthermore in the Top-8-Group only citizens of a country that is member of the European Go Federation (EGF) are allowed to participate.

Players living in a foreign country will get an reduction of 5 ￠æ.
Reduced fee is for pupils, students and unemployed people.
There will be a lottery for all pre-registered players at the closing ceremony!

Prize Money
The money and material prices of Kido Cup 2011 will have a total amount of about 10.000 Euro.
In the Main Tournament all players with at least four wins will get a 20 Euro coupon. Like that all player with a positive result will get a price.
