European Women Championship 2010 - oct 16-17, 2010
This Event is open to all go female players. Players must be European nationals (European passport)
NB : As was announced at this AGM, World Women's Championship will be held at least in three following years starting this year. Europe has one place in this event, at the moment. It was decided by the EGF that European Women's Championship will be a qualification for that event. The European Women's Championship in Lyon/ France is a qualification for World Women's Championship 2011.
The players are welcome on Friday, so the first turn take place the saturday morning at 10:00.

9:45 am: Opening ceremony
10:00 am: 1st round
2:30 pm: 2nd round
5:30 pm: 3rd round
After dinner : free time at the maison rurale, bar, games ...
Sunday, 17th october:
9:30 am: 4th round
1:30 pm: 5th round
4:00 pm: closing ceremony and prize giving

5 rounds. Mac Mahon (with or without top group) or swiss system, depending of the number of players and number of dan players.
Placement criteria : wins, SOS, SOSOS or SODOS
Basic time limite 60 minutes, canadian byoyomi 5 minutes for 15 stones, komi 6,5 japaneses rules
Everybody must keep silent in playing areas; mobile phones and noisy equipment are prohibited.
Players must obey the tournament rules and instructions of organizers. A player may be disqualified without any compensation if she commits something against good behaviour or breaches tournament rules by any way.
