There was the 41th Amsterdam tournament between the 17th and the 20th of May. It was a beautiful tournament. The best thing I liked was the rapid tournament on a cruise ship. It was offered for free for every participant on Friday.

On the first floor of the ship, we had 5 rounds of the rapid tournament having 30 minutes' sudden death for each player. In the boat each player had two drinks and many sandwiches for nothing, and using the break times between each round, we could admire wonderful landscape from the second-floor deck as much as we liked. It was a fantastic experience !

After 5 rounds' main tournament, finally a Korean Seokbin Cho 7d became the champion. The tournament place of EGCC was large and wide, and it had very nice facilities including a bar and restaurant and good atmosphere. You can consult the information of this tournament here....

Everybody enjoyed the tournament, especially the rapid tournament in the cruise ship ^^, and we are already waiting for the next tournament in Amsterdam !
