2012 Swiss Go Congress
2012 Swiss Go Congress was held in May. Armel-David won the open tournament, and Sébastien Ott, who made the 4th place in the open tournament, became the new Swiss champion.

I felt it more like a camp rather than a tournament. There are some special factors of the Swiss Go Congress which made me feel in that way.
First of all, the venue was so beautiful. It was just next to the lake Luzern surrounded by mountains. Swiss people knew how to use the nature. Unlike normal tournaments, there was no table with numbers. Every round instead, players brought a Baduk set to where they wanted to sit. They played games under the sunshine enjoying the lake and mountains. Besides of it, we could enjoy other activities such as swimming, canoeing, and beach bally ball. Even we went hiking together.
