Czech Camp - Kim Sungrae 8p
Czech Camp - Kim Sungrae 8p
There was the Czech Camp from the 12th - 18th of August in Zlutice about 100km from Praha. I know a lot of Czech Baduk players are enthusiastic about playing Baduk. They organized many tournaments this year and some players studied at the Korean Baduk Center in Budapest, including my female student Klara who studied Baduk in Korea for one year. I and she was on my pair Baduk team at the EGC this year and we took third place. |

The camp even included the top 8 Czech players for the first 2 days and took place for a little over one week. The teachers were Jan Simara 5d and I. I had gave lectures for 6 hours a day which was the longest lecture I have ever given in my life. I gave lectures on: top European player's game records from the EGC, Professional ladder breaker, Ko fighting etc. Also I had live lecture with a game between my professional daughter and Jan Simara 5d. It was a grueling camp for me but I had a good time there as well as in Praha with the Czech Baduk players. |
