After a long hiatus I'm back in Europe to teach Baduk. Last year I had a great time in the Netherlands. This time I will be staying in London.
When I was back in Korea I wasn't sure what I would be doing next. Of course I still wished to stay in Europe but it's not easy to arrange visa, place to live, etc. I thought for some time where I wanted to go and decided to choose UK.
I always wanted to live in a native English speaking country as I feel it's the easiest way to improve my English. Living in London would also be a dream come true for me. Around 4 years ago I taught in the Oxford University Baduk club and it was definitely a really good experience and I thought it would be cool to be able to do it again. I'm very happy to say that I will be teaching again in the Oxford University Baduk club.
However it's not really simple to get a visa as a Baduk instructor (probably impossible). So I applied for an English school. I will be attending it around 10 hours a week and the rest of the time I will be focusing on teaching Baduk and meeting other Baduk players. I have a feeling this year will be a lot of fun.
