Australian National Go Championship - Bi Jang 7D
ANGC (Australian National Go Championship) the biggest Baduk competition in Australia held on 27th-28th November in 'Young Go Academy' in Sydney. I was able to see much more Aussie people participating than others. It might be because this is the only one national Baduk competition in Australia.
I was also able to meet some Go players from Brisbane who I met when I visited Brisbane Go Club last month. But the other hand, Some of loyal korean Go player didn't show up.
Unfortunately, as this tournament has no sponsor, there's no money prize. However, it would be honored for the winners who get the highest ranking points and put his name on AGA's (Australian Go Association) history.
Most strongest players are Chinese not only for America but also for Australia.
There's not much chance to play a serious game since I came to Australia, it might affect on me to have made a ridiculous mistake in a simple easy situation like blinding a dansu. So, I lost the 4th of 6 matches and was almost chucking up the winning.
What a pity, Miao who was the only unbeaten player lost the last game, And the trophy turned by 1point to be given to me.
I'm very lucky in Australia, so my winning streak is still consecutive. I'm going to put more effort to reach a great achievement in Australia.
