The European Go Congress was held at the Aleksanteri School of the city of Tampere in Finland. The school is located in the center of Tampere. It has a large park area nearby.

Lee Youngsin 8p, Ko Juyeon 8p and I arrived close to the start of the opening ceremony. At the Opening Ceremony I was happy because I met some players from the last congress and my students from KBC (King's Baduk Center) in Korea.

I stayed at the congress for nine days, during which I gave several lectures, played simultaneous games, and gave game reviews.

I participated in the meeting of the presidents of the Go Associations from each European country. There I announced the Korea's plan for globalization of Baduk and I spoke about the necessity of making a European professional system.

One thing, I can't forget to mention, is that almost every night I partied with European Baduk players and talked about Baduk. After one week, I was exhausted and felt I needed to escape from the congress.
