Small Tournament in Croatia - Sung-rea Kim 8P
Croatia Tournament was held on the 2nd of July in Velika Gorica.
I and Ko Juyeon 8P were invited for lectures and simultaneous games.
It took us about 7 hours by train from Budapest to Zagrab - the capital of Croatia.
I was surprised that Zagrab was much smaller city than I expected.
Velika Gorica is located near Zagrab. We slept in a school for the mentally disabled children.
It was very hot the next day and there was no air-conditioner.
We finished lecturing and simultaneous games in a very uncomfortable condition.
There were not many players; about 24 in this tournament.
And they said that it is very hard to find beginners.
I realized this was the sorrowful reality of Croatian Baduk.
Kang Kyoungnang 7d took first place in the tournament.
We went sightseeing in the National Park. It was huge, and there was such a beautiful valley I had never seen before.
