Healing Italian Baduk Camp (AGI Go stage) Sep. 30 - Oct. 1
"We are going to the heaven!" This is what Aldo said when we were driving up to a mountain.
Aldo, the main organizer of the AGI Baduk stage, came to the Milano main station to pick us up. Right after we got into his car, In-seong said Italian drive like Korean. I heard it slightly and simply thought they have the similar character with Korean, which is ¢®¢çbeing hurry'. I guess I underestimated Aldo's driving skill. He was like a car racer! The camp was located on the top of a mountain, so we had to drive the twisty loads around the mountain for more than a half hour. I felt it like much longer than that whenever my body moved from a part to the other. Oh I felt like I was really going to the heaven like he said. Finally we arrived to the destination, and it was truly heaven.
I was exhausted after 6 hours of journey, but the fresh air woke me up a bit first. When I entered the camping place which is a hilltop house, I saw some words that women like ¢®¢çnature and organic food' etc. Then the owner of the place, who was friendly and peaceful, gave us delicious food with wine. It's pity that I didn't take a picture of one of the dinners. Anyway, well decorated, clean facilities and healthy food. The ideal place was booked only for the AGI Baduk stage.
About 25 Baduk players joined in the AGI Baduk stage. Well, it was almost training Camp. We had 3 hours of 5 lectures from In-seong and got reviewed after playing free games. Also we played team simultaneous game against In-seong, and the result was 3:2 for him.
All of the Baduk activities were held in a specialized room for something like Yoga. There were mattresses to stretch your body and meditate, and we used it quite well when playing. Now a days Baduk is regarded as a sort of sports, but it is still something we adore for the mental aspect of it. This room seemed respect that point of Baduk. In a calm and spiritual place, having fresh air and organic food, we fully enjoyed Baduk without any interruption.
Lectures, free games, team simultaneous game, wine and talking till the morning come.
Literally, it was a healing camp. While staying there, I kept thinking that it was worth to come up here. I got tired before, but that was nothing compared to what I had there.
If you want to heal yourself, why don't you join the next AGI Baduk stage? I bet you will love it.
