After finishing Vietnam go propagation in 2010, I was worrying if I might continue the go propagation in 2011 or not so much. There were lots of walls that I should endure actually and objection of parents. But, I was attracted to Vietnam deeply for 7 months and I continued the propagation this year because I thought I couldn't finish without any start.

If I think about it now, I went to Vietnam with absolutely nothing.Without knowing Vietnam's situation, actual situation, etc. of go, I love go with the passion of youth blindly.

Luckily, I obtained high score in the national go competition in Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi team could participate in Guangzhou Asian game of 2010 as a representative of Vietnam.

I intend to talk about my activities in 2011.

My first goal was to let Vietnam players participate in international go competition more than two times in this place.

- Big and small go competitions are held in countries around us, such as Thailand, China, Korea, etc. But, Vietnam players have insufficient information for go competition and economic burden, so I have seen the case they couldn't participate in competitions sometimes.

Luckily, I think that the goal was achieved for the part. The grade is not satisfied in Thailand university students go competition, Japanese fair competition, international go competition sponsored by Korean prime minister, but I expect for them more in the future.

Especially, in international go competition held of October in Korea, a head of chess association Hanoi was visited.

Korea prepared the place to introduce how go competition is held in Korea and who are go executives of other countries. So, I received lots of news for go and invitation of go competition of other countries as a Vietnam executive. It's very fruitful to learn the world of Vietnam go.

The secondly, I translated go book written in Vietnam language.

It was the book of go introduction written by Korean. There were Korean Baduk Association's plan to translate it in 6 languages with good intention. Among them, Vietnam language was included and I was in charge of it luckily. For about one month, I had to fight with Mr. Bao helped for the translation with brain. Therefore, I didn't know how the time was passed for two months of July and August.

I am waiting for the news releasing it in Dec. and the book will be arrived in Vietnam soon.

I hope that more Vietnam people can meet go through this book.

Of course, there wasn't just good thing during the 2011.

In the national go competition that I expected the mostly, Hanoi team obtained bad result enough to be unbelievable. In comparison with last year, the number of Hanoi participants was small, but I didn't be comfortable. Because of the low score, the plan to induce national competition of next year in Hanoi is disappeared...But, I hope that our Hanoi team doesn't be disappointed!

This is Dec. 1 year and 6 months were passed since I came to Vietnam.

I became much more familiar to Vietnam friends and I become more comfortable in Vietnam than Korea.

I cannot be sure that if it is good omen or not, but I will lead the go distribution more actively in 2012
